Dr. Joel Gotvald, a board-certified Vascular Surgeon and Vein Specialist, is the current Medical Director of The Vein Treatment Center of Texas. Dr. Gotvald has over 25 years of experience as a physician. He completed his residency and fellowship in Vascular Surgery / Vein Surgery at the top University Medical Centers in Dallas, TX and Houston, TX. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate. He is a destinguished fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery and is recognized by the American Board of Surgery as being double board-certified in surgical subspecialties. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Venous & Lympatic Medicine. He has dedicated his career to managing circulatory conditions of the venous system.
Dr. Gotvald is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society. He is also a retired Major of the United States Air Force where he honoarably served as a Trauma Surgeon, Vascular Surgeon, and General Surgeon.
